I love ratties. I have had a few pet ratties. The last couple we had didn't go too well because they were rescues I got from a shitty pet store. Theywere kept in dirty cedar shavings and had bad respiratory problems. One died within days and the other we saved for a few months but then it got ill and died as well.

I'll have more agian one day...I love rat's personalities so much!!!

The ratties are probably my favorite of my 8 pets.  Sure, the kittens are cute, but they are going to grow up to be cats and that knowledge is always in the back of my mind.  The rats love me ... they are clean, smart and social ... and when I'm done with them, I can put them back in their cage.  There is really no downside.  They are my babies!
