ok, so as usual i am bad at all this keeping up to date stuff. woops.

MISTER MONKEY BRYAN IS AWESOME COS HE SENT ME A BIRTHDAY PRESENT! and nobody else did. i came home from sydney to find an amazon box on my desk! containing a wicked book which i am working my way through. super millions of hugs and kisses to him.

+ i have been working full time as a registered veterinary nurse at a 24hr emergency animal hospital. it's rad. i applied for work experience and instead they hired and trained me up. most awesome experience ever, being in an emergency hospital makes me an amazing nurse and gives me the best of the best skills. if/when i ever want to work somewhere else it will be so much easier and i will sit at the top of the applicants because i have worked in emergency. i do have to do the shit shifts, because i have no kids, no other job, no partner, and i'm new. but that's ok, i get paid more to work between 9pm and 6am, so it's rad! nearly everyone there is great, only about 3 guys out of the 50 or so staff, which is interesting. i've already become so much more confident in my nursing and just working in general, and i've been a good employee! so i know i must love my work. it's great. i've adopted 3 bunnies from work too, one unfortunately died after a few days but she had a tummy bug we think. so we have dub and wise (it was dub an step. laugh if you understand.)

+ i passed my drivers test! i had my free car from my cousin but recently the radiator and then the head gasket died, so i've got my parents old car and they just bought a new one today. they were going to anyway, they just did it sooner so i don't have to look for a dodgy loan and a dodgy second hand car. this makes lots of sense and proves how wonderful my parents are! so now i owe them like, $3k. but i'm sorting out finances. anyway being able to drive is fucking winningly grand, cept for the price of petrol and the new 12midnight-5am driving curfew for the first 6 months of your licence. which is for the next 3 months for me. STUPID. i'm going to carry a work shirt around everywhere with me and just claim i just finished work.

+ i went to a 'pop culture' (sci fi and anime) con and met jewel staite, aka kaylee from firefly and dr keller from stargate atlantis. she is the cutest sweetest giggliest hot accented actor ever. and probably the most mainstream famous person i've properly met and spoken to. she was super nice at the q+a. so so awesome.

+ i turned 23, had a bangin birthday party during which i introduced people to nangs and received a carton of 12 boxes of oreos! and then went to sydney and the blue mountains for a few days with some iam kids. i got to hang with my bestest east coast buddies, ash and dina, and all the other peoples. and i met a freaking perfect fantastical shmexy boy. alas he lives in sydney. but hot fucking damn, if you thought one split tongue was good. TWO IS THE BEST THING EVER! seriously. there was some mighty hot booty getting down. i'm making him come visit me soon, and we'll see what happens.  mega possibility here, which has made me remember what it feels like to have a beating heart. but i don't want to jinx it. but eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

+ there is a sweet boy  here in perth but he's going to america for 3 months in august, so we're just hanging out until then and when he gets back, well we'll see where we both are. he is lovely, but nothing can compare to sydney boy. but he did give me a pirate cookie monster that he won in a skill tester. and he does do circus tricks. and singing telegrams. he came to my birthday dressed as elvis.

+ i am thoroughly moved out, into a share house with a cool dude called dark horse, or dan. he is a chef at a hospital, we have a weed setup in the laundry, and sit around watching b-grade horror and discussing the intricacies of the world. basically he's rad and super chilled out which makes for the best housemate quality.

ummmm. in smaller news.... i need to go food shopping. rabbits eat a lot.
