Ok short update and then the main mission:

_ Still working at same vets. omg for longest full time position ever! Go team me. Did my wildlife rehabilitator's basic course, so I can work towards becoming a carer, like taking in wildlife that is injured or sick, rehabilitating them and then releasing. It was just a two day course and I pretty much knew it all, but I had to do it so I'm a little closer to my goal now. And I met a cute echidna who tried super hard to find ants in my shoes.

_ Boys. BAH. So no official boy right now, as per usual, but there is the usual suspects still around and a few new cutie pies lining up as potential somethings. I am in the super fun stage of sms flirting and dancing together and mega smiles and fb comments with one. I love this stage, it's all ego boosting cos you know someone likes you and you like them and there is hope for happy things. Cynical voice in my head is like "He does too many drugs! He's shorter than you! He has no mods!" but I'm mostly ignoring that voice. The magical boy I met in Sydney has not visited me yet, the poohead, but he's saying november/december, which will be in time for my event! (see below) so fingers still crossed for him. And there is a cute metal tattooed straightedge vegan boy I have seen a few times but he is so ridiculously polite it is so hard to flirt with him and he is rather frustrating!!!! Going to America boy turned into a bit of a dick and then went to America.

_ My BEE-EFF-EFF Amir just got back from his short Europe trip, and all the stories he just told me (5 hours of yammering post music festival) are totally motivating me to kick my "move to the uk" plans into more forward motion. Next saving item: british passport. I had some set aside for it but I might have sort of kind of spent it on chemicals. I can buy it one week that isn't rent week, no stress. I'm worried about how expensive London is, but also very excited.

_ I'm putting on a suspension event later in the year, and we got approval for the venue we wanted! It's this big art live music performance venue, partially govt funded partially private I think. Lots of rad djs and bands have played there, I went to a burlesque show there on the wkend, it's grand. It has a huge beam outside lain over two stacks of shipping containers, and we want to use that. So now all the complex planning begins. The purpose is to let lots of people come down and see suspension in the flesh (hah) for the first time, debunk some myths about it, and get a few people up for their first time. Some of us will also go up that have been up before, to make it a bit more interesting.

_ Lots of winnnnn music festivals coming up! Season is beginning! Parklife was yesterday and always is the kick off of the warmer 6 months party times. Got tix for many more... soon there will be lots and I'll have to pick them carefully or be totally broke.

Backstory: I have this friend, and when we were 16 we discovered suicide girls and we thought it was the shiznizzle. We took a bunch of photos for them, talked to some of the recruiting girls online, wanted to submit sets, obviously couldn't being underage, but we did learn a lot about the whole process, and also learnt we did not want to sign onto SG. My friend since ended up doing some work with some Aus. sites, and God's Girls, and went over to the states to work for them a bit also. She is now back in my city (yay for friend's that return!), not working for GG anymore tho, and our other friend has just submitted her first GG set as the first friend helped her out with all the application bits and pieces. And I am like, Janey you lazy ho, get your arse into gear and get a set together and apply for DN proper!!! My friend took her photos herself, but my camera is tough for that.

So I am going to ask the first friend (oh yes I could have given them names to make this less confusing, but I didn't) to take the photos for me. And to help me with hair and makeup so I feel less self-conscious about that side of it.

All you kids have to do is bug the hell out of me until I do it. Because I am so bad at following through! I get distracted! So, message me on here, on facebook, msn, any way you can, hassle the fuck out of me, be annoying, until I do it. And in return you get to see Janey booty and boobies.
