snow

It has now been snowing for one week and one day. Good old Portland now has about 11" of the stuff, plus some layers of ice mixed in there. Dust on crust. Because it has been so windy we've also got some amazing snow drifts. I walked by one that was probably 7' tall today

. I have never ever seen such a thing here in the valley (we rarely get an inch, let alone 11!), and it is beautiful.
I love climate change.

	I would've thought as summer's biggest fan that you'd be hating this. It is beautiful though isn't it? I live downtown and it's almost surreal. The day before yesterday I spent like 12 hours playing in the stuff. My family keeps telling me how it's 80 degrees back home in Miami and they're all in shorts. I wouldn't trade this for anything.
