One night this year of burningman 2008, a large group of us went out onto the playa, guns a blazing (maybe ten years prior that would have been literal firearms), and by some point in the night we were on the other side of BRC, with tales and debaucheries behind and ahead of us.
 
Our numbers had lingered to 6 or so, and there was this incredible mix playing.
Tracks, remixed GENUISLY, crafted together seemlessly...
Depeche Mode vs. Pet Shop Boys, Amy Winehouse vs. Britney Spears, Snoop Dog vs Cher.
BUT ALL INCREDIBLE.
So well done. Ive never danced like that before, or again.
Well anyway, i snagged a CD from these people, and somehow, i hadnt listened to it again til very recently, and its still really good. Its started hunger pains for burningman.
Anyway, when i did this, i thought i should really write Bootieusa and thank them for giving such a perfect backdrop and soundtrack for a large portion of my night, and one of the most important nights i had out on the playa.
When i went searching I also found these photos of my friend and I dancing our asses off on the speakers and elsewhere.
