W-T-F? Wow that really sucked. I’m at a loss for words as to how to review this cd. I actually don’t want to review it at all because I like Paul Stanley’s music with KISS but I’m going to try to.

As the main front man for one of rock n rolls biggest bands KISS, I expected much more of out this cd. This is Paul’s 3rd solo record over the course of 29 years of his career of KISS. Live To Win reminds me of KISS’ Hot In The Shade and Crazy Nights...very vanilla. It’s like the softer side of Sears to Stanley’s music.

And who can you blame for this…Desmond Child. Hell, Richard Marx would have co-wrote better songs for this record. Desmond Child is looked at “The Midas Touch” of music. That’s great for artist like Ricky Martin & Britney Spears, Bon Jovi, and Aerosmith. But a rock star as Stanley, it doesn’t do it for me. Nothing in this CD is different. Every song sounds the same as the next.

It’s like the softer side of Sears to Stanley’s music.

For man that’s been in a band that has sold over 100 million records worldwide, I expected more. Maybe it’s just me but if you’re the kind of person that likes soft rock than this is the cd for you to get. The songs are potential theme songs for an after school TV special and the rest is just one big giant power ballad.

As for me….waiter! Check please…I’m finished with this CD.
