I'm a weirdo about having back up money too.BUT you said "emergency bills" which seems to mean its nothing pressing currently or possibly in the future.I saw if you have evrything in the clear now,go for it.It's entirely possible and most likely more money will be omming your way BEFORE you leave,so that money can be used for an emergencies if they arrise.
