Click on "Settings"
Then under the misc settings box choose what you would like to have. Check the boxes for options you want to keep and uncheck the boxes for options that you DO NOT want.
Then Click on "Update Settings" to save your choices.
For Journal and general postings
To make sure that you have the easy editor for posting journals/comments/reply do the following:
First under Misc Settings, make sure that these two boxes are checked:
- Use HTML rich text editor in forums/journals
- Use HTML rich text editor when commenting
It should look like this:
This will enable your bar across the top of journal postings, replies, forum postings and commenting in journals will look like these:
Journal and forum postings it will look like this:
Commenting/replying to a journal posting:
If your headers look like this:
OR This:
Either you SIMPLE EDITOR button has been checked or you did not check mark your misc settings correctly. You will need to go through the steps listed above. Or check out this forum thread for more solutions:

The rich text editor doesn't work in Safari like alot of other things. We recommend switching to Firefox for Mac users.
