The magazine also features the South Florida Tattoo Expo I was at.
I'm not in the magazine but manmeat's boss, Chris Blinston is pictured and ALOT of his work is featured!

I was reading through Bizarre Magazine and there was an article about some lady who they call "the original piercer" or some bullshit like that (also claims to be the "first" person to get wings tattooed on her back) who just wrote a book called "Body Art" and I was looking really closely at the cover, which is like sixteen tiles of photos and I'm one of them. What the fuck?!? I am right under the T.

They don't really need her permission to use it just the permission of the person who has rights to the photo. She probably signed her rights away in a model release form. The person who took the pic probably sold the pic or gave them permission to use the image.

The photo in that picture is too small for me to be able to tell who took it. It could be a burning angel photo (in which case everything would be fine and dandy and i wouldn't care since they do own the rights to the photos and they are rad people etc.) but it could also be from some photos I took with this other photographer for whom I never signed any releases nor did I get any compensation for. Some friend of a friend who was just learning and trying to get in some practice shoots. In the case of the latter, I would be pretty heated. But I guess I won't know until I get the book in the mail.

I haven't seen it yet, so I'm not sure who all is in it, but I did find out that some of the models who were at the Atlantic City Tattoo convention are in this month's Tattoo Society magazine. I'm going to try to get my hands on a copy, and I'll let you know who is in there, if someone else doesn't beat me to the punch.

And yay for two issues in a row of Tattoo Revue featuring DN models! (issue 131 and 132)
