I am not savvy with technology at all..

I am just trying to make banners for DN..but I cant figure out how to get a photo on top of another photo and be able to save it.

left click on the top image in your Layer menue (F7 if you have cs2) and click Merge Down and it will take the 2 images and make them one. (if you have a few layers you want to merge all into one then click Flatten Image) you should be abel to save that as a viewable jep or gif bmp which ever you wish.

Oh trust me, I fully intend to! I just only have the one photo that is your banner, on here, but when your set comes out, you will have tons of banners. Trust me. Haha

Actually, this is exactly what "save to web" is for. Keep your layers and keep the photoshop file so you can go back and change things you don't like later. Use save to web to export web ready stuff.
