The LX has 1.3 mpx camera (2008 has 2) and needs an update for the video, which may take forever. The 2008 is also customizable with the shells and is smaller than the LX.

I had about 5 or 6 sidekicks (I lost count at buying my 3rd sidekick), they all had there own problems and broke down on me. They are by far the easiest pda's to control and keep up with but they aren't meant to last.

Out of the 3 and lx... The 3 is better. The LX has a wider screen and slighty thinner. But the LX has many problems, it doesn't hold as much space, the photos to me came out blurrier than the 3, I had to delete many contacts because the LX couldn't hold as much stuff and it froze more than any sidekick I had.

I had them all; sidekick II, sidekick 3, sidekick ID, sidekick LX. The best one out of all of them is the ID, but that eventually broke down on me as well.

If you don't have alot of contacts, don't take alot of phone photos and go on the net via phone alot, this is the perfect pda for you.

I'm not saying don't buy a sidekick, but just understand that in a couple of months your going to be purchasing a new phone.

That's weird because I've had mine for over a year and it still works totally fine. I have tons of contacts but don't take many phone photos. i randomly go on the net but I usually use my computer for that.

I was looking at the Tony Hawk LX but only if it does MMS messages and holds as many contacts and texts as my 3 does. I'll have to double check that.
