resolution wise a 20" and a 22" both have the same max resolution 1680 X 1050

22" monitors us TN panels, which have less of a viewing angle, but generally lower response time

I'm actually going to be getting a 22in Dell with HDMI input. The total is going to be around $320 for it including shipping and tax. I was on ebay and the model I am getting comes w/ a standard 3 year warranty and is factory direct. Not too shabby of a price if you ask me....

For the price, I'm actually extremely happy with my 28" Hans G flatscreen. It does have very slight bleed through problem around the edges. Which means I sometimes have trouble getting a TRULY dark black on the edges of the screen. Also, the viewing angle could be slightly better. But so far it's been a heck of a good buy for me and the response time rocks.

Why not just hookup a hi-def TV to the computer?
I had mine hooked up to a hi-def projector until I fried the video card.
Now I'm shopping for a new card.

Depends on the useage of it, generally anything 37" or under will be 720, when stretched to that the res will be huge for the tv no? For films and internet I'm sure it'll be fine... depends on what it's going to be used for as I said.

I've never done it because I am saving for an expensive 37" with 1080 res... but they are so expensive...
