Only two episodes left...

...how does it end?

The theme this season has certainly been to give people permission to hate Tony, so I'm gonna go with Tony getting whacked in Dr. Melfi's office.

Tony whacks Phil, Phil's guys whack Tony, Carmine becomes boss afterall.

I was so hoping to see AJ off himself. Especially at the point where he decided he wanted to live. It would have been great to see his fingers slip off the diving board and him slip under just as Tony walked in and started eating the sammiches Carmela made for AJ.

This season has been pretty lame. I hope a LOT is packed into the next/last two episodes.

I say Tony dies (Whacked / Suicide / Accident) and they have some prelude to AJ taking his place.

Then 10yrs down the line ... they have Sopranos: The Next Generation (HAR)

Here's the thing they can't do without completely betraying the show : End with Tony "Happy" and all's well. It just wouldn't make sense. So I think Tony's gotta die.

Maybe Tony rolls over to the FBI and his entire family gets whacked but he survives to go into witness protection?? They have been forshadowing that a bit with his relationship and tips to the agents. Plus, it's not like letting family hang or die or killing them himself is out of bounds with Tony, as has been proven in past episodes/seasons.

I've been wondering if the terrorist thing is being set up as some weird out for Tony. I'm kinda hoping for a big blow out with Phil that ends with Phil getting whacked, a couple dead DiMeo soldiers, and the last shot will be Tony walking down to pick up his paper as "life goes on".

I don't want him whacked, and I don't want some cheesy out.

So far none of our predictions have come to be(even the "which boss whacks which boss first" is still a jump shot) . Just lots of death and confusion around Tony...as usual when shit hits the fan.

Next week will answer all.

Man, waiting for Bobby to get whacked was pretty stressful, poor guy. I lost my "getting whacked in the shrinks office" bet.

I hear they shot several alternate endings and that one of those endings has been leaked. The radio was going to mention the leaked one but they gave me the opportunity to change before they blurted it out, which I did.

Something else also dawned on me last night whilst watching a commercial for the final episode on HBO...

I wonder if the entire hour of Tony wondering if he should whack Paulie...and Paulie wondering if he was gonna get whacked in Florida might have been a bit of set-up for who is going to be the Jersey leadership post-Tony?

I was so sad to see Bobby and SiIl get it.

I always liked those two. I can't stand Paulie. That whiney bitch. I hope he gets it good.

I'm with Brainless though. I don't wanna see Tony get killed and I don't want some cheesy ending.

Some people had Meadow getting whacked.

I think the last episode is going to have a lot of flashback stuff about Tony's rise to the top, and it will end completely unresolved. The first two Godfather movies ended with no resolution whatever, and I think that's the best way to go.

No way that Paulie ends up boss. Shit, Phil didn't even feel the need to kill him. If Tony goes down, then that is all she wrote for the Dimeo family and the Jersey guys just become a crew for the New York family (sorta like little Carmine in Miami).

If this series ends unresolved after so long and so much hype I will be sorely disappointed. Especially after the last couple of shallow seasons. I think I have even been refusing to consider scenarios that will end with no real resolution as far as something happening with Tony.
