So I am going through a disciplinary at work at the moment which, (I am told, pre-empting the situation) I will lose my job for.

To find out what this is about just read my blog but it got me thinking....

We are mainly alternative types right? So have you ever lost your job? If so, why?

I got fired for using the hottub at a condo complex I worked at as a gounds keeper. The site manager came to lock up and me and my girlfriend were in the hottub doing 'hottub things'. I went to work the next day and my pink slip was on the coffee pot.

I lost my job more than once, but I enjoy making them fire me

so I start going overboard and seeng what I can get away with until they finally fire me.

my last gig, they fired me / said I quit

It went back and forth... you fired me! no you quit!

oh.... good times

I am a computer programmer, so I got away with a SHITLOAD of stuff before they get out of control

I have yet to be fired.
I work in a call center right now so if I was going to get fired I would throw a fit and have to be carried out and I would throw paper and throw a fit. Just for the entertainment value..

hmmmm...

been fired for not showing up.
um, fired for swearing at a boss, worth it man.
not exactly fired but warned to never come back on pain of death due to being caught with the bosses daughter, not worth it because we didn't do anything, we were only seen in a club together! fuckin job sucked anyways.
i was a postie, delivered mail on foot over about 16ks, got fired for going home and doing acid before my run then wandering round for hours and chucking peoples mail all over the place. nearly got arrested for that.
fired for not showing up a few times actually...
fired for doing lungs in the chiller, the only place you couldn't smell it.
aha ha ha, fired from my job as a drug dealer!
fired for telling customers to get fuct, a few times...
fired for giving stuff away, even more worth it.

in 11 years i've had over 30 jobs, fired from 1/4, quit about 3/4 and the rest i can't remember.

Never fired... but an old boss tried to force me out on a number of occasions literally because I was smarter than her.

I got fired because my manager was trying to fuck my girlfriend at the time. I pissed him off alot by giving him the finger at every opportunity and he threatened to kill me in the parking lot, which I reported to HR. He then e-mail flooded corp. hq with fake customer complaints against me. He was drinking buddies with some of the higher ups so I was screwed.
