Just a few...currently reading The Power That Preserves, the last book in the Thomas Covenant Unbeliever series by Stephen Donaldson.

I keep wanting to read Pandora, but I haven't yet. I think that's going to have to be next on my list. Right now I'm reading Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz. Kinda weird, but good. Pandora is definitely next! Let me know what you think of it when you start it and I'll do the same!

I am in love with Chuck Klosterman.
He's brilliant.
He wrote a book called "Killing yourself to live" about a road trip across the country that he took covering all of the major sites where rock stars died.
It was infused with real life and it was so marvelously well written.

I mostly read erotica and autobiographies/biographies. My favorite author is the Marquis de Sade, I was 12 when I discovered him. Maybe not an author for most 12 yr olds, perhaps that's why I'm a bit um crazy hehehe. I had never heard of him, and literally just picked up the book off the shelf. The guy at the counter didn't even question me.................... Now I'm reading Images My Life In Film by Ingmar Bergman, Leni(the life and work of Leni Riefenstahl, and The Lolita Effect(the media sexualization of young girls and what we can do about it). I usually read about 3 or 4 books at a time, I'm a bit of a geek.

Neil Gaiman
Ray Bradbury
Stephen King
Audrey Niffenegger

Those, at the moment, are 4 of my favorites. I need to find more good 'uns though. It's very hard...

Anyone have a good website suggestion? A place to find authors or books similar to ones you like? I hate getting a ways into a book and finding out I hate it.

D'OH!

I am and always have been, obsessed with Vampire based novels.
I don't care if it's a drama, comedy, mystery, love story, trashy romance novel...
heck, I still read the "teen" books that i find at Borders or Costco.
I will buy/read almost any book i find that's about vampires.

I just re-read three of my old books from highschool because I've run out of things to read and didn't want to make a trip to the book store or Library.

So... if you enjoy vampire stories... please send suggestions my way!
