That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

Honestly, if some statement like that is going to make you scared of getting tattooed perhaps you should reconsidered getting tattoooed at all.

One of the problems I have with the whole tattoo/whore argument is that tattoos are permanent, whore-ness is typically more of a youthful trait (although there are exceptions). When I was in college, I had a couple small tattoos, and yes, I was quite slutty. But now, as an (almost) 30 year old housewife I have a lot of tattoos, but am happily married (and definately NOT a whore).
