the longest time I've gone is 2 hours.

I have EMLA cream applied to the really tender ares (yes - I am a girl pants). You know, the stuff that they put on your hand when they put a drip in it.

It doesn't kill the pain but it takes the edge off for a while

I've 9 hours for the japanese demon on my arm, he just kept going over and over making sure the colors looked just right.

5-6 hours for one on my arm at the Detroit expo in 98. The Atomizer did it (adam grey). It's not even that big.
Time flew by though cause him and Paul Booth (had the space next to us) were good guys and very chatty.

luckily i havent started any huge pieces (i hate and dont want to have outlines
on my body) so all of my tattoos, i have sat through until they were finished.

i think the pocketwatch on my arm was my longest sitting, 4 hours.

Five hours on my chest was my longest. Would've sat longer, but my skin was starting to swell from the irritation and we were afraid it would fuck up the tattoo.

The longest I've ever at is about 2 1/2 hours. I'm not a sissy, I just haven't gotten the bulk of my work done yet and my artist charges $100 an hour. It gets to be omg-I-can't-pay-my-rent too much if I do sit longer

i've sat for 7.5 hours 8 hours total including breaks for my big piece on my side. in total it took over 40 to finish the damn thing.

5.5 hours for the rose on my thigh, with a couple breaks. She kept going over it with different colors and by the end it stung like a bitch haha
