My boyfriend and I joked about this once. It's kinda neat to see it has actually happened.
Pierced Eyeglasses “People should think things out fresh and not just accept conventional terms and the conventional way of doing things.”
- R. Buckminster Fuller
The idea of hanging eyeglasses from a piercing or a combination of piercings or even transdermal implants is something that a lot of us have toyed with — as I was writing this, my old boss Tom Brazda reminded me that almost ten years ago we made a set of them built around a 10ga bridge piercing (with both left and right-handed threading to make it adjustable). That said, I don’t think we ever took pictures, so maybe I’m making it up because I want to steal James Sooy’s thunder. He’s who sent me this gorgeous example of a piercing-mounted set of eyeglasses:

James is an artist currently designing and painting for Texas-based Magnificent Egos, a minatures (as in gaming) company. Art consumes all of his time, professionally and personally, and much of it is centered around character design, which gives him both time — and money — to fantasize about mods on fictional characters. With the help of his friend Oliver (who many of you know as one of the founding members and guerrilla engineers of the suspension group TSD) this fantasy was made real.

oh no bad idea.. I have my bridge pierced and it just seems like having something hanging off the sides is just asking for painfully bad things to happen! |

hahahah thats fucking hilarious.
this doesnt seem like an overall smartest idea. piercings are never a sure thing there prone to all sorts of problems espoecially if they have weight attached to them or if you knock it for a quick laugh yeah its a good idea lol.

Attitude Sunglasses made a similar idea but a different approach.. You had to have both your eye brow pierced (on on the left and one on the right edge of you eye brows) and the glasses clipped onto your piercing. My boyfriend modeled the sun glasses for Attitude.. and I have worn the glasses. they aren't too unconformable (I had to bend mine to get them to shape my little head better) but they would unclasp if they got pulled on. So there wasn't as high risk of your piercings being pulled out. I'm sure some people would put them on to tight or something like that and YES they could very will get riped out.. mine never have.. nor has my boyfriends.. but I don't like to wear any form of glasses so I haven't used mine in a long time he still wears his but not so much cus he needs real glasses and attitude doesn't make prescriptions .. but it wasn't a piercing and sun glasses as on thing.. just sunglasses that clip onto a your piercings.. just as dangerous as a belly chain or nose to earing chain.. as far as I'm concerned having ANYTHING hang from your piercings is hazardous and pron to being pulled out... I sort of always saw the glasses as useful as getting a corset piercings.. good for pictures.. that's about it..
