I've never ventured into the wide world of suspension. What got you all into it in the first place? I have a very high tolerance for pain, my only problem would be fear of it ripping my flesh off. Hehe. How does it feel anyway?

well? it was a curiosity...then it was a want to do it after some friends and family passed away. i figured it would be more of a reflection than a pure pain session. buut...when it comes to tearing the flesh...its unlikely, unless you have a VERY unskilled piercer and they pierce the hooks way too fucking shallow or something like that. your skin is EXTREMELY resilient. depending on what type of suspension you do...(like elbows)...THAT will give you a bit of a tear because the skin is so thin there (at least it did with ME). but being worried about skin ripping off...really i believe there is no need. ive seen people do some crazy shit while suspending and when it SEEMS like their skin would fall off or the hooks would tear right out...they didnt.
how does it feel? to me...its amazing. its almost like a reward and punishment at the same time. its kind of hard to explain that.

I have a ritual suspension ceremony tonight in Austin... I know this is short notice.

People are always going to fear/not like what's unknown to them. But then you get people that are just outright ignorant to understanding it.
I get a lot of shit for suspending as well, and people have said some things in the past that have actually..kinda hurt my feelings. But that was a long time ago and now I just don't give a shit.
I do it for me, not them.

I would love to take a trip and "hang" with you guys though! By looking at the pictures it seems like you have a lot of fun

We are having a ritual suspension at Servitus in San Diego on April 26th. Meister Schmerz of CoRE is performing it. You are all welcome to attend. It is going to be intimate and beautiful. We are also having a branding.
